The Gate is Ironwood's daily compliance verification system. Each day, you can complete a series of checks to verify you're in compliance with Texas Notary law and ready to perform notarizations.
Daily Power-Up
Gate checks reset at midnight. Pass the Gate each day to earn Swarm Credits, boost priority ranking, and enhance your visibility.
Gate Checks
Commission Status
Verify your commission is active and not expired. Terminal automatically checks theTX Secretary of State database.
Bond Status
Confirm your surety bond is active and covers the required amount (Surety Bond).
Equipment Check
Verify you have your notary seal, journal, and fee schedule available.
Location Verification
Confirm you're in Texas (geofencing check). The system uses your device location to ensure compliance.
Oath Acknowledgment
Review and acknowledge the notary oath for the day.
Gate Process
Navigate to the Gate from the Terminal sidebar or dashboard.
Go through each required check and provide verification.
Once all checks pass, you're verified for the day.
Important Notes
Failed Checks
If any check fails, Terminal access may be limited until the issue is resolved. Review the failure reason and take corrective action.
Audit Trail
All Gate checks are logged with timestamps for compliance and audit purposes.
